Eclec-Tech Consulting
Instructional Technology Consultant
Chesterfield, VA
I am a recently retired educator from Chesterfield (CCPS), but I like to be referred to as “rewired” as I am a lifelong innovator always looking for new ways to enhance teaching and learning. After 38 years in education first, as an LD teacher and then in the technology department as a Technology Coordinator, Technology Integrator, and a Technology Team Leader, I continue to grow professionally. I have taught online graduate courses at (VCU) in instructional technology and facilitated online courses for the VDOE. I hold a BS in Education as well as a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from VCU.

I have presented at local, state and national conferences on topics ranging from Project- Based Learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Integrating Technology into the curriculum, as well as G Suite tools (Google). This past year I launched an EdTech consulting business; Laura Michaels, LLC-Eclec-Tech Consulting to follow my passion for continued work in instructional technology.
